Being that "Smallville" is winding down, the CW is planning for the future. "Smallville" producers Kelly Souders and Brian Peterson are teaming with McG (what a director... NOT!) to produce a pilot for "The Graysons," based on pre-Batman days of Batman’s sidekick Robin. The show will follow Dick “DJ” Grayson, his family, first loves, and young rivals. The series will be set in modern times and will have a one-hour running time. Sounds God awful...
It may be interesting if the film will follow the Greysons as they perform in their traveling circus (that's why Robin was so acrobatic - he and his mom and dad were acrobats).
Does anyone care about Dick Grayson before he meets Brice Wayne?

And this via Variety: Proving yet again that no one in Tinseltown has anything new to offer, Michael De Luca, Alison Rosenzweig and Michael Gaeta will develop a remake of the 1987 Mickey Rourke supernatural thriller "Angel Heart." Why????? The film still holds up. The creepy locale of 'Nawlins and the bayou, the haunting score, Alan Parker's direction... De Niro!!, Rourke!! And the hotter than hell Lisa Bonet.
See for yourself...

Not sure how I feel about a show about Robin before he becomes Robin. Sounds like a stinker.
There is no need for an Angel Heart remake. The original one is amazing. It is still a good watch.
