JAMES BOND RIPOFFS AND FAKES


On this day of our 500th post (!!!), I give you this nifty lil' Bond entry.

With "Quantum of Solace," the much-anticipated follow-up to "Casino Royale," hitting theaters on November 14, here's an interesting and entertaining article that discusses how a plethora of spy movies have derived the majority of their style and premise from James Bond's iconic image.

It makes me think about all the spy movies, both serious and spoofs, that came out after the Bond craze started in the early 60's. It's like every country wanted to get into the spy game. They all had their own movies come out. There was the whole Eurospy genre.
