HOLLYWOOD REPORTER HATES 'SHREK THE THIRD'

Being that there's been a whole lotta Shrek and Mike Myers talk of late, I figured I'd share this quick post on the new and maybe last Shrek film.

The first media outlet to weigh in on the exploits of the giant green ogre is The Hollywood Reporter and it don't look good.

MIKE MYERS TO MAKE ANOTHER AUSTIN POWERS FILM

Sci Fi wire reports that Mike Myers ain't done shagging.

While out promoting "Shrek the Third," he spilled the beans about wanting to make another film in the Austin Powers film franchise.

Myers, the creator of the film series, says he plans to start the comedy after he finishes his next project, "The Love Guru." a film about a Canadian raised in India who becomes a guru and helps the Toronto Maple Leafs win the Stanley Cup.

As for the next Powers film, Myers he says it just may focus on Austin's nemesis, Doctor Evil.

"I have figured out that the story will be taken from the point of Doctor Evil," Myers told the site. "It will be powered from Doctor Evil's point of view." Myers added: "That will be the first of a trilogy. ...I'm just joking! ...I haven't figured it all out. Who knows?"

For those not in the know, Doctor Evil is one of many characters the comedian portrayed in the franchise. In the last one, 2002's "Austin Powers in Goldmember," Doctor Evil became a good guy and passed the baton of evil to his son (Seth Green).

Myers voices the loveable green ogre Shrek in "Shrek the Third," opening May 18.

OGRES HAVE SPERM - SHREK TO HAVE BABIES (PIC RELEASED)

Ogres have sperm. Who knew? Check out this just released pic of "Shrek the Third" in which the big green man has little babies with Princess Fiona.

So ... Is it jumping the shark or just funny? Chris Miller, the director, tells People magazine is was just the next logical step in the series.
