BARRY O TICKS OFF THE PRESS CORPS

Just how do you tick off the press? While it may seem inconceivable that President Obama could do anything even slightly wrong to the liberal elite media, he in fact, did yesterday.

The new prez made a surprise visit to the White House press corps office Thursday night, but got agitated when he was faced with a substantive question.

IS THE FOURTH ESTATE THAT GENERIC?

State of New Hampshire stops issuing ID cards to journalists

The Associated Press is reporting that the state employee who handled that chore says just about anyone can call himself a journalist these days, and he doesn't want to be put in the position of having to decide who's a legitimate member of the news media.

On a similar note ... "In my day, as a newspaper man, radio man and television man, I had the feeling I was telling people something they wouldn't otherwise know," says 91-year-old Daniel Schorr to the Sacramento Bee. "That's no longer true. I'm glad I'm not 20 years younger, because I'd be very discouraged. ...At my age, I look at [the media landscape] and say, 'Boy, I'm glad that's for other people.' I couldn't stand what's going on today."

'RAMBO' NOT TO SCREEN

Rambo fans, this isn't good ... Lionsgate has decided not to screen the upcoming "Rambo" for press -- aside from the few who attended the press junket in Los Angeles earlier this week.

What's more, even the scribes who attended were subject to extensive Non Disclosure agreements which won’t allow them to say a word. Hate to think it's THAT bad... Then again, like most modern horror films that don't screen, the studio probably thinks there's enough of an audience so why risk bad press.
