The new trailer is out and I have to say, it looks pretty damn kick ass. It seems that the main focus remains on Brad Pitt (obviously) and his swastika carving cohort...

The Brothers Weinstein have posted the third character poster for Quentin Tarantino’s "Inglourious Basterds," featuring Diane Kruger.

In the flick, she plays Bridget von Hammersmark, a popular film star in Nazi Germany and a spy for the allies.

THE OFFICIAL PLOT: It begins in German-occupied France, where Shosanna Dreyfus (Mélanie Laurent) witnesses the execution of her family at the hand of Nazi Colonel Hans Landa (Christoph Waltz). Shosanna narrowly escapes and flees to Paris, where she forges a new identity as the owner and operator of a cinema. Elsewhere in Europe, Lieutenant Aldo Raine (Brad Pitt) organizes a group of Jewish soldiers to engage in targeted acts of retribution. Known to their enemy as “The Basterds,” Raine’s squad joins German actress and undercover agent Bridget Von Hammersmark (Diane Kruger) on a mission to take down the leaders of The Third Reich. Fates converge under a cinema marquee, where Shosanna is poised to carry out a revenge plan of her own…

'INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS' CAST POSTERS

Just in case you missed it a few weeks back, here's the badass poster pic of Brad Pitt and Eli Roth in "Inglourious Basterds." Pitt stars as Aldo Raine complete with baddass neck scar.

As for Roth? he's playing a character the Nazis will refer to as The Bear Jew. A baseball-bat-swinging Boston-ite with an almost Mr Blonde-esque psychopatic twist to his personality.

'INGLORIOUS BASTERDS' PITT PIC LEAKED

Empire Magazine recently printed the first glimpse of Brad Pitt in Quentin Tarantino’s "Inglourious Basterds" BTW, I'm not dopey, that's the way they spell it.

In the WWW II flick, Pitt plays Lt. Aldo Rain (aka Aldo The Apache), a leader of a group of Jewish-American soldiers known as “The Basterds." The death squad is on a mission to track down, scalp, and viciously kill Nazis in an attempt to spread fear among the Third Reich.

A WWII Tarantino flick... Can't frikkin' wait!

THE COENS ARE BACK! 'BURN AFTER READING' TRAILER

While I dug last years Oscar-winning "No Country For Old Men," I feel that it lacked what I call "The Coen touch." In practically all of their films, I've felt that almost every scene was painterly. It had a look, a feel, a mood. "No Country..." lacked that aesthetic. It also lacked their trademark quirky characters. It looks like here that they're back in fine form. Kudos! Very Lebowski-esque.

Here's the official plot synopsis: John Malkovich plays Ozzie Cox, a CIA vet who is fired because he is an alcoholic. He takes his revenge by writing some inflammatory memoirs. Cox's soon-to-be ex-wife Katie (Tilda Swinton) steals the disc containing his memoirs and accidentally leaves it at the gym where it is found by a trainer Chad Feldheimer (Brad Pitt) and the gym's owner Linda Litzke (Frances McDormand) who believe they can use the info to blackmail Cox.

Harry Pfarrer (George Clooney) is an oversexed, fanatically fit, lactose-intolerant federal marshall, who is sleeping with Cox's wife. He meets Linda via an online dating service and gets entangled in the blackmail scheme, when he stumbles across Chad breaking into his and Katie's house.

THE MOST BANKABLE STAR IS H'WOOD IS ...

... None other than Matt Damon.

Fresh off the heels of this weekend's record-breaking opening for "The Bourne Ultimatum," Damon is officially entertainment's best investment, reports Forbes.com.

In his past three roles, for every dollar he was paid, the actor brought in $29 of gross income. That catapults the 36-year-old thesp over 22 other film heavyweights, ranked with the same financial formula.

In Damon's spy franchise, the first two "Bourne" movies grossed an estimated $850 million at the box office and in DVD sales. The third installment released on Friday -- "The Bourne Ultimatum" -- snagged $70.2 million at the box office and is officially the biggest August film opening ever.

Brad Pitt took second place on the list, with a gross income return of $24 for each dollar of his pay and Vince Vaughn tied with Johnny Depp for third with $21.

As for the chicks, Pitt's ex-wife, Jennifer Aniston, is officially the most profitable actress with a gross income return of $17. Pitt's current squeeze Angelina Jolie, ranked sixth with $15.

Oscar-winner Russell Crowe is smack dab at the bottom of the list. His last three films _ "A Good Year," "Cinderella Man" and "Master and Commander" _ averaged just $5 in gross income for every dollar spent on his pay.

Movies starring the two Hollywood Toms - Hanks and Cruise - averaged $12 and $11 of gross income, respectively. Will Smith and Denzel Washington each brought in $10.

In terms of comedy, Adam Sandler brought in $9 per dollar earned, Will Ferrell and Jim Carrey $8 each.

Forbes.com calculated the net revenue for a film by adding the worldwide box office and revenues from U.S. DVD and video rentals and then subtracting its budget. The net revenue was divided by the actor's total compensation to derive gross income. The average gross income of an actor's last three films produced their box-office return.
