The old soul that Papa H is, we have put aside for our love for everything jazz, retro and blues and acknowledge the 50th birthday of Michael Jackson. When I was in high school, MJ was the closest I'd ever get to witnessing a mania such as Elvis or The Beatles so for that I'm grateful. I saw his career-making "Motown 25" moonwalk on an old B&W TV in a neighborhood basement in Spring of 1983 and I still have chills whenever I see it. Momentous...
