While the press made the whole Sean Young incident at the recent DGA Awards much more scandalous, here's the video (albeit a little choppy) of Young heckling "Diving Bell and the Butterfly" director Julian Schnabel as he accepts his award at the DGA's Saturday night. The drama continued to unfold yesterday when the controversial actress checked into rehab.
But check out the vid ... The clearly moved Schnabel was trying to make a speech when in the background you hear, "Get on with it!" And then he sorta just splits from the stage, pissed.

Julian Schnabel is a terrible painter and visual artist but is a fantastic, insightful, deep film maker. I look at his paintings and wonder why anyone would want them. The best you could say about his paintings is that they are playful. Anything beyond that is just sycophantic.
